“Knowledge is Power”

Google Analytics is the gold standard that most websites use that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to your website.

  • Do you know how many total visitors you had on your site this week?
  • Do you know how many of your visitors came to your site more than once?
  • Do you know where your visitors came from?  Did they come from a Google search, email, link or typed in?
  • Do you know how long your visitors stay or how many pages they view?
  • Do you know which page they landed on?
  • Do you know which page they left from?’
  • Do you know which of your pages are most popular?
  • Do you know whch keywords people search for to get to your site?  Google does.

Just knowing this information is enough to get you started making changes that could improve your overall results.  Google Analytics provides accurate knowledge of what your user experience is.

Google Analytics software is free to use and only needs a one-time setup and configuration of your site’s pages.  Once that’s done, Google Analytics will start tracking all your visitor data that you can access with a login and password.

Here’s a screen capture of what Google Analytics looks like.  You can configure your results in many different ways.
